The European Union is facing a challenge it has never faced before. With the full-scale invasion of Ukraine taking place just behind its eastern border, the Union has had to shift its spending – focusing now primarily on defense, as well as aid to Ukraine. However, there are many other issues that MEPs will have to work on, such as the Green Deal, the migration crisis and energy. To discuss the challenges facing EU MEPs, we are joined by Velina Tchakarova, founder of the geopolitical consultancy FACE.
